correspondence, minutes, proceedings, accounts, proclamations,
pardons, payments, applications, and recommendations.
Correspondents include governors, council members, secretaries of
state, Council of Safety, Commissioners to Preserve Confiscated
British Property, Intendant of the Revenue, Auditor General, and
Commissioner of Army Accounts among others. Documents arranged in
rough chronological order; sometimes by type of document. For
1775-1789 indexed by MARYLAND INDEXES Maryland State Papers,
